The Library (Private Room Rental)

Rent The Library at The Portal Comics & Gaming: a private room for your group’s campaign, game night, tournament prep or party. Bring your crew and we’ll handle the space.
What’s included
- Private use of the room for your full time block.
- Seating for up to 6 people.
- Room games and equipment free to use during your rental.
- Other amenities: TV/screen, outlets, etc.
Time blocks: $30 each
- Tue, Wed, Thu: 1:00 – 9:00 PM
- Fri: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Sat: Block 1, 11:00 AM – 3:45 PM, or Block 2, 4:15 – 9:00 PM
- Sun: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Closed Mondays
How to book
- Choose your date and time block above, then check out. Your block is reserved for your group only.
- When you arrive, check in at the counter.
- Bring a valid photo ID and a credit card. You’ll sign our short Room Rental Agreement, and we’ll keep your card on file as a security deposit.
About the card on file
Your card is not charged for the rental itself; the $30 is paid at booking. It’s only charged if something in the room is damaged or missing, and never more than $150. We check the room with you before and after your block.
House rules
- The person booking must be 18 or older and present at check-in.
- Please leave the room and its games and equipment as you found them.
- Your block ends on time, and late arrivals don’t extend it.
- Food and drink: e.g., “Snacks and drinks welcome; please clean up after”.
- Max group size: 8
Cancellations
Cancel at least 48 hours before your block for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours, and no-shows, receive store credit instead of a refund.
